At AM Colt Starting & Training, we don’t just “break” colts — we build them. Our colt-starting program goes far beyond the arena. We focus on clarity, consistency, and real-world exposure from day one, giving every young horse a solid foundation that sets them up for success in ranch work, reined cow horse events, or whatever direction you choose. Our goal is simple: develop confident, willing horses that understand their job . By establishing clear fundamentals, we help your colt become the kind of horse that’s a pleasure to own and a standout performer for years to come.

General Training/Tune -Up

Colt Starting

Minimum of 60 days

$1,500/month

Consignment

*20% of final sale boarding included or 10% of final sale plus $700/month boarding.

Boarding

Horses are fed standard of coastal 24/7 and alfalfa pellets. Any shavings, or additional feed must be provided by customer.

If customers would like us to substitute the alfalfa pellets for alfalfa bales, they can subscribe to the alfalfa
bale subscription. If customers would like their horses to have shavings in their stalls, they may subscribe to the bedding subscription
